Big Bill Haywood 12x18

$25.00

The mine owners do not find the gold, they do not mine the gold, they do not mill the gold, but by some weird alchemy all the gold belongs to them.*

New three color print, including a first-layer reflective gold, features an image of Big Bill Haywood and a powerful quote that feels as relevant now as it did a century ago.

12×18”, initialed/numbered edition of 20 on Madero Beach Speckletone by French Paper

*After finishing this print, I’ve seen that this quote may have actually been phrased in the past tense; “did not find the gold, did not mine the gold, did not mill the gold… all the gold belonged to them.” If I can confirm the past-tense version is correct and ever get around to a second edition, I’ll update, although I do like it written in the present tense as it is here.
