Four-color poster for The Woodbrains

Recently picked up a few ink colors I haven’t used before and did some test printing with them just to get a feel for how they printed. I used an image from the James Webb Telescope and a couple of my own swirl-photos that netted out with a pretty-heavy spacey swirley print that I liked.

The October gig seemed like a quick & great way to make use those test prints. I placed the show info, some firewood, and an axe on top of the tests and was really happy with the results. It’s a simple formula that I suspect I’ll return to at some point.

9.5x12.5”. Initialed and numbered edition of 18 printed on 140# Black Speckletone by French Paper were available for folks in attendance to grab at the show. A few one-offs were hung up at the venue beforehand.
